This is the first Cabernet Franc we've ever made, and we couldn't have picked a better vintage to start with. The dry summer in 2005 insured perfectly ripe fruit and a slate of wines with extraordinary depth and intensity. Only 48 cases of the Franc were bottled, and it's going fast.

$32.00 – Limited to three bottles per person

Fermentation: In small bins using a Bordeaux yeast.
Aging: Ten months in American and Eastern European oak barrels.
Bottling: 48 cases bottled in August 2006.
Tasting Notes: Dusty blackcurrant aromas and tannins a little lighter than the Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoy through 2012.
