Another substantial Merlot in the style of our 2002 vintage. Fermented in one-ton bins and aged in barrels from France, Eastern Europe and the USA. This wine was neither fined nor filtered before bottling. Rich and full-bodied, it will continue to gain complexity as it ages and can be enjoyed through 2009.

Fermentation: In small bins using a Bordeaux yeast.
Aging: Eleven months in French, Eastern European and American oak.
Bottling: Bottled in September 2005.
Tasting Notes: Full-bodied and complex with a solid backbone. Bramble and spice on the nose, red fruits on the palate.
