Special Reserve Chardonnay label

Chardonnay grapes from our oldest vines were used in our Special Reserve Chardonnay. It was barrel fermented in Hungarian oak and aged there on the lees for nine months. Lush and full-bodied, it will continue to gain complexity as it ages and can be enjoyed for 4-5 years.

Fermentation: In Hungarian oak barrels using a Burgundian yeast.
Aging: Nine months on the lees in Hungarian oak.
Bottling: Bottled in May 2010.
Tasting Notes: Full-bodied and rich with aromas of hazelnuts and spice, creamy flavors and a long finish with lots of toasty oak.
